European Pharmacopoeia (Eur. Ph.) Beeswax Pearls are a natural wax purified using physical processes that strictly complies with the standards of the European Pharmacopoeia. As it is pelletised into pearls, it is very easy to weigh, measure out and melt evenly. Its characteristic golden-yellow colour and gentle honey aroma impart warmth, texture and traditional protective properties to the end products.

🧪 Physico-chemical Properties

• 🌡️ Stable Melting Point: It melts between 61 °C and 65 °C, giving products an excellent consistency as they cool.
• 🧬 Natural Co-emulsifier: Helps to bind the water and oil phases in emulsions, improving the long-term stability of creams.
• 💧 Anti-Dehydration Barrier Effect: Forms a thin protective film on the skin that prevents water loss, protecting it without clogging the pores.
• 🧴 Emollient Action: Deeply and naturally softens, nourishes and repairs dry or damaged skin.
• 🧪 Oil Retention Capacity: Prevents vegetable or mineral oils from separating, improving the texture of balms and ointments.
• 🛡️ Certified High Purity: As it complies with the Ph. Eur. standard, it is 100% free from paraffins, synthetic waxes or contaminants.

• 💋 Lip balms and lipsticks: Provides the necessary structural firmness, whilst adding shine and ensuring smooth application.
• 🧴 Creams and Lotions: Acts as a thickening agent in hand creams, hair masks and rich body care formulas.
• 👁️ Make-up: Used in mascaras and compact foundations to improve adhesion and water resistance.

• 🩹 Ointments and salves: It is the ideal structuring base for traditional topical medicines (wound healing, burns, etc.).
