Description
It is produced in the sun-drenched fields of La Alcarria and the Spanish interior, where bees gather nectar from the purest lavender (Lavandula stoechas) in Spain. This gem of Spanish beekeeping is distinguished by its pale amber colour, a deliciously creamy texture and an intensely floral aroma.
- Colour: Very light amber, turning white or cream when crystallised.
- Aroma: Floral, extraordinarily intense, with the characteristic scent of lavender fields.
- Flavour: Sweet, delicate and lingering, with subtle acidic and woody notes on the finish.
- Crystallisation: Medium-high. It crystallises into a very fine, grainy texture that is creamy on the palate.
